The Crescent Hills Community Park is at 141 Sycamore Drive. It is over one and a half acres of recreational area for all Crescent Hills Residents to enjoy. In the 1960’s community developers set aside this land for use as a park.

The park is owned by the Civic Association, which represents the households of the neighborhood  and is not part of the municipal parks/recreation system of Penn Hills. The park includes a fenced-in toddler area, complete with new equipment purchased and installed in 2014. We Thank the many volunteers who donated their time and money to this project.

There is a baseball field, a playground area with a climbing fort, swings and monkey bars, tennis/street hockey courts, picnic shelter and a walking trail. Toilet facilities, drinking fountains and parking are available. The park is used for many community gatherings, include the Annual Plant Sale, Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Picnic, Kids Storytime in the Park, Kids Carnivals and Concerts in the Park.

The park is home to adult volleyball on Mondays every summer. Feel free to join your neighbors in this sport in the summer!

The picnic shelter is no longer available for private rentals. The park committee decided this year to discontinue rentals for a while.

Many residents lodged complaints about not being able to use the park while it was being rented.

If you are a Crescent Hills resident and feel strongly about wanting to rent the park and think we should open it up to rentals again, you may write us an email to contact@CH-CA.org and we can take your comments into consideration the next time we meet to discuss it.
